Types of Training:
Endurance Training - This type of training is very popular with runners and walkers alike, especially those interested in achieving and maintaining a healthy weight. High repetitions with light-to-moderate weights provide the guiding principle behind this training method. In addition, Fred’s clients receive healthy meal plans and diet tips to help improve their lifestyles.
Strength / Power Training - Pyramid programs are primarily used in this type of training, to extract maximum strength-building potential from each exercise. Correct form and posture are always stressed, so as to better help you achieve your strength and power goals.
Bodybuilding - The most popular method of training for bodybuilders is a five-day split with a target overload. This is effective because it allows you to hit your muscles with everything you’ve got, then let them rest and rebuild for a week. Intensity level and volume are high as each set is carried on until failure.
Sport Training - Every athletic activity has exercises unique to it. Sports-related injuries, such as shin splints, are avoided by training that’s targeted at a particular sport, as opposed to a “one-size fits all” approach. As a sport-specific trainer, Fred will develop a fitness plan that will enhance your performance in your chosen athletic pursuit.
